Ready…set… celebrate!

The start of the 64th Florida Forest Festival monthlong celebration is right around the corner, and residents are reminded to “save the dates” for the following highlights:

• Miss Florida Forest Festival & Little King and Queen Pageant: Saturday, Oct. 13, Forest Capital Hall.
• Festival Carnival: opens Wednesday, Oct. 24, and closes Saturday, Oct. 27, Perry-Foley Airport.
• Fireworks: Thursday, Oct. 25, Perry-Foley Airport.
• Kids Parade, Gaslight Parade, “Strutt Your Mutt” Pet Parade & More: Friday, Oct. 26, downtown Perry.
• King Tree Parade & Festival: Saturday, Oct. 27, downtown Perry and Forest Capital Park.
