    Attention local farmers & growers

    Posted on October 5, 2018

Local farmers and growers can sell their produce on a “first-come, first-served” basis at the Grand Pavilion at Rosehead Park in downtown Perry.

Mayor Alan Hall recently inquired about any guidelines or fees associated with the downtown Farmer’s Market, and was told there none.

“It’s free to set up, and there are no forms needed?” he asked during the council’s last meeting.

City staff stated that Main Street Perry utilized the fee schedule and registration system when it was active; however, now that the organization has dissolved, those regulations no longer apply, and the market is open to everyone.

“I’ve had some questions about it. We need to get the information about that out there,” Hall said.
