Treat yourself and volunteer!

The Perry-Taylor County Chamber of Commerce is issuing an “all call” for volunteers for the Trunk or Treat event planned Halloween night (Wednesday, Oct. 31).

“We need help with the costume contest and pumpkin carving contest, as well as passing out candy. This event has grown a great deal since we took it over and we need help. The costume contest had more than 250 individuals enter last year, and we passed out 400-plus pounds of candy at just our spot,” Director Dawn Taylor said.

Also, anyone planning to host a “trunk” during the event is asked to complete an application that is also available at the chamber.
