Partners for progress at Steinhatchee boat ramp

The Taylor County Commission joined together with members of the Steinhatchee community for a “grand re-opening” ceremony at the Steinhatchee public boat ramp Monday morning to celebrate the completion of Phase II of the construction as well as to publicly thank two of the project’s major donors: Buckeye and Foley Timber and Land Co., which gave $100,000 and $200,000 respectively toward the purchase and construction of the boat ramp.

Signs recognizing the two companies were unveiled during the ceremony.
