    Beshears: ‘three issues overshadowed’ freshman legislative experience

    Fresh from his first session as a member of the Florida Legislature, Rep. Halsey Beshears spoke to the Perry Rotary Club Tuesday to discuss a number of the larger issues tackled in Tallahassee this year and fielded questions from members and guests.

    Beshears lives in Monticello and is chief financial officer for Simpson Nurseries and president of Total Landscape Supply. He was elected in 2012 to represent District 7, which includes Taylor County along with Calhoun, Franklin, Gulf, Jefferson, Lafayette, Liberty, Madison and Wakulla counties as well as part of Leon County.
