Goodman to be guest speaker on Nov. 19

What was it like to be a teacher in rural North Florida at the turn of the 20th century?

Dr. Josh Goodman, archives historian at the State Archives of Florida in Tallahassee, will speak on this topic to members of the Taylor Retired School Employees at their monthly meeting on Monday, Nov. 19, at 10:30 a.m., at First United Methodist Church.

Goodman’s talk will draw on a variety of historical documents and photographs from the State Archives’ holdings.
