Supervisor of Elections Dana Southerland hosted swearing-in ceremonies Thursday, Nov. 15, for Taylor County’s newly-elected and re-elected public officials.

County Judge Bill Blue (right) was unopposed in his bid for a second term, while County Commissioner Pam Feagle outpaced challengers in both the primary and general elections to secure a third consecutive term. Political newcomer Sean Murphy (shown above) was sworn in as District 3’s representative on the county commission. He attended his first meeting as county commissioner on Monday.
