After Clerk of Court Annie Mae Murphy notified county commissioners of certain areas of contract “non-compliance,” the county has instructed County Attorney Conrad Bishop to review and amend its agreement with East Coast Court Services (ECCS) – the contractor providing misdemeanor probation services for those sentenced in county court.
At a special meeting held last Wednesday, Nov. 14, Murphy presented the board with a detailed performance review report on ECCS that revealed “a pattern of non-compliance with the contract,” according to Bishop.
