    Leon Drawdy

    Leon Drawdy , 83, died Nov. 17, 2018, in Perry. Leon was born March 20, 1935, in Bell, Fla., to Wilbur Drawdy and Mrs. Annie Mae Miller Drawdy.

    Leon honorably served our country in the United States Army. He was of the Baptist faith and was a member of Community Church of Perry. Leon worked as a truck driver for over 50 years.

    Leon was preceded in death by: his parents, Wilbur Drawdy and Annie Mae Miller Drawdy.

    Leon is survived by: his wife for over 58 years, Rose Drawdy; his daughter ,Cynthia Bass of Perry; his four sons, Donnie, William, Leon B. and Joseph Drawdy, all of Perry; one brother, Broward Drawdyl; three sisters, Katie Cash, Sandra Patterson and Ann Wheelus; five grand-children; and two great-grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

    Graveside services with military honors will be held today (Wednesday) at 2 p.m. at Wayfair Cemetery in Bell, Fla., with Bro. Cricket Watson officiating. The family received friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 20, at Burns Funeral Home of Perry. All arrangements are under the direction of Burns Funeral Home of Perry.
