Paving funds may come up short for San Pedro Road

The Taylor County Commission is seeking bids from paving contractors to widen and resurface San Pedro Road, but it is unlikely the county will receive enough state grant funding to cover the expected cost of the project.

According to County Engineer Kenneth Dudley, the county received $1,133,182 from the Florida Department of Transportation’s (FDOT) Small County Outreach Program (SCOP) for improvements to San Pedro Road from U.S. 27 to Faulkner Road.
