Downtown detour: Railroad crossing to be replaced

Downtown workers and visitors should be aware that a section of Jefferson Street downtown will be closed the week of Dec. 10-15 to replace the railroad crossing near Rosehead Park.

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), in conjunction with Georgia & Florida Railroad, will replace and realign two railroad crossing surfaces during December at an estimated cost of $830,000.
