This Friday, Nov. 30, is the final day to register for the Gingerbread House Workshop planned in conjunction with the Downtown Christmas Open House and Taylor County Historical Society’s “MayPerry Christmas” celebration Friday, Dec. 7.
Gingerbread houses and a candy bar will be set up at the Perry Masonic Lodge.
“We will provide the decorating supplies. You bring your creativity and holiday spirit,” said 4-H Agent Abbey Tharpe, who is coordinating the event.
Registration forms are available at the Taylor County Extension Office. The cost is $10 per child.
Participation is limited to the first 40 participants.
The workshop will open at 5:30 p.m.
The event is being sponsored by UF/IFAS Extension, the Optimist Club of Perry, Taylor County Chamber of Commerce, Perry Masonic Lodge and the Taylor County Historical Society.
