    JoAnn Hiller Wells

    JoAnn Hiller Wells, 70, died Nov. 24, 2018, in Perry. JoAnn was born Oct. 20, 1948, in Lake Wales, Fla., to James Henry Douglas and Almeda Christine Sweat Douglas.

    JoAnn was of the Baptist faith and she loved her Lord. JoAnn was a barber for over 40 years, owning several barber shops before she opened the Perry Barber Shop in 1998. She enjoyed cookouts and spending time with her family, a loving wife, mother and granny. JoAnn was a proud member of the Republican Party, and a staunch NRA member.

    JoAnn was preceded in death by: her first husband, Edwin Hiller; her parents, James Henry Douglas and Almeda Christine Douglas.

    She is survived by: her husband, Tully Wells; her children, Keri (Donnie) Boatwright, Shane Hiller, J.T (Kim) Wells, IV and Josh Wells; her sisters, Joyce Womack and Jean Hunt; her grandchildren, Mike, Annie, Jessie, Jaxon and Teagon; as well as a host of nieces and nephews and many good friends.

    A memorial service will be held Saturday, Dec. 1, at the new downtown Rosehead Park at 2 p.m., located at 500 S. Washington Street Perry, FL 32347. All arrangements are under the direction of Burns Funeral Home of Perry.
