    Posted on December 5, 2018

Help children in need this Christmas by taking part in the 17th annual Toy Run to benefit Guardian ad Litem this Saturday, Dec. 8.

The run will begin at Studstill’s of Perry (209 W. Green St.) at 10 a.m.

Registration is a new, unwrapped toy or $20 donation. Door prizes, such as Harley Davidson collectibles, jewelry and more, will be awarded.

Entertainment will be provided by Bryan James. “If you don’t participate in the run, you can still join us for music at Beach Burgers & BBQ at 1 p.m.,” said Wendy Yates Cruce, Toy Run organizer.
Guardian Ad Litem has requested the following items for gift donations: educational light-up toys (infant to age 2), diapers and pull-ups, toy trucks and cars, handheld games, $25 Dollar General gift cards (which will go to children at the Methodist Children’s Group Home), PlayStation 4 gaming gift cards (GTA5 and ARK), craft kits for all ages and nursing school supplies (stethoscope, blood pressure cuff, EMT trauma shears, first aid kit, tourniquet).

Gifts may be dropped off in advance at Studstill’s.

To donate door prizes or gifts, or find out more information, contact Cruce at (850) 838-5190.
