Mamie Beverlyn Hanson, 74, died Nov. 29, 2018, in Steinhatchee. Beverlyn was born June 17, 1944, in Jasper to Lloyd Dempsey and Bertha Mae Weaver Dempsey.

Beverlyn was preceded in death by: her husband, Donald Lee Hanson; her parents, Lloyd and Bertha Mae Dempsey; and her son, Kevin Hines.

She is survived by: her son, Alton Dempsey and his wife, Tonya Ellison; her daughter, Cheryl Dempsey Taylor; her grandchildren, Dustin Taylor, Tiffanie Taylor Kingsley and her husband, Ben, Nathan Taylor and Douglas Taylor; her great-granddaughter, Mia Taylor; her sister Gladys Owens; and her brother Roy Peterson.

No services are planned at this time. All arrangements are under the direction of Burns Funeral Home of Perry.
