Shooting suspect surrenders to PPD

Two days of phone negotiations brought a peaceful resolution to a manhunt for the suspect in a shooting that happened Monday afternoon at the Tidewater Apartment complex.

Anthony Bell, 39, turned himself in Thursday morning at the Perry Police Department (PPD) to face charges of aggravated battery and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
