Lakey not hired in Destin

Former Taylor County Administrator Ted Lakey was not hired for the city manager position in Destin, as the Destin City Council reportedly hired interim City Manager Lance Johnson instead.

There was no mention of Lakey at the meeting, according to NorthwestDaily News reporter Tony Judnich, who added that a candidate from Green Cove Springs was reportedly the council’s second choice.
