New classrooms for Head Start?

Federal officials expect to announce a permanent Taylor County Head Start provider next spring, but in the meantime, CDI Head Start, the interim provider, is moving forward with purchasing a six-classroom modular building to house both Head Start and Early Head Start students.

Last month, CDI Head Start advertised for proposals to furnish site plans, parking and floor plans for a building to include three Head Start (ages 3-4) classrooms, three Early Head Start (ages 0-2) classrooms, kitchen, offices and a conference room.
