Whiddon back in Perry for court

Manden Whiddon, 24, will be back in court today (Friday, Dec. 21), facing the possibility of spending the rest of his life in prison after violating a plea agreement with the State Attorney’s Office.

Whiddon is one of three suspects linked to the murder of former educator Shelley Strickland, who was shot and killed at her home in 2015. He is serving a 15-year prison sentence for “accessory after the fact to first degree murder” under a plea deal reached w
