On June 27, 2018, the family of Irene Buckhalter Hill breathed a sigh of relief and briefly enjoyed a sense of closure after the man that shot her was handed down an additional life sentence.
Or, so they thought.
Now, less than six months after Jessie James Livingston Jr. was sentenced to serve at least another 25 years on top of the 33 years already spent in prison for the 1985 murder of Hill, public defender Andy Thomas has filed a sentencing appeal.
