    Donald Ray “Bill” Robinson

    Donald Ray “Bill” Robinson, 83, died Dec. 22, 2018, at his home in Perry. Bill was born July 28, 1935, in San Diego, Calif. to Charles A Robinson Jr. and Anna Oliver Robinson.

    Bill honorably served our country in the United States Air Force as a military police officer. He enjoyed spending time with his wife. In his younger years he enjoyed boating, fishing and target shooting. He was a manager at the local Subway for 21 years. 

    Bill was preceded in death by: his parents, Charles A. and Anna Robinson; and one sister and her husband, Lois and Barney Cobb.

    He is survived by: his wife of 23 years, Mary Robinson; his children, William “Bill” Robinson (Monique) from Yorktown, Ind., Robert “Bob” Robinson (Amy) of Vermontville, Mich., David Robinson (Tess) of Lansing, Mich., Timothy McNutt (Vicki), Cheryl Moore (James) all of Perry, and Delbert McNutt Sr. of Dawson, Ga; 20 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

    Funeral services will be held Thursday, Dec. 27, at 11 a.m. at Crosspoint Baptist Fellowship with Elder Gary Blanton officiating. Interment services will follow immediately afterwards in Pineview Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 27, at Crosspoint Baptist Fellowship. All arrangements are under the direction of Burns Funeral Home of Perry. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Shady Grove Primitive Baptist Church building fund.
