Three cheers for Special Olympics

Taylor County’s pride and support of its Special Olympics athletes was on full display Thursday morning when hundreds gathered at the courthouse for the annual Special Olympics Law Enforcement Torch Run.

In just the past few years, the organization has seen its ranks swell from 80 athletes to 200.
