Buckeye’s annual blood drive collected 56 units June 12, surpassing the 48 units collected in last year’s drive. The blood will be used by patients in hospitals throughout North Florida including Doctors’ Memorial Hospital, organizers said. The donations were collected from Buckeye and contractor employees by OneBlood, formerly Southeastern Community Blood Center.
