Buckeye, TCHS STEM Club team up for ‘hometown’ work program

For many years, one of the stated goals of economic developers and local officials, when talking about creating jobs, has been to “keep local children from leaving and not coming back” after graduation.

The county’s largest employer–Buckeye Technology–and the Taylor County High School STEM Club recently joined forces in an effort to help bring a few more local youth back to their hometown, at least based on comments made by the students involved.
