    SSgt Victor M. Rosado

    SSgt Victor M. Rosado passed away on July 8, 2019, in Perry Florida. SSgt Rosado was born Jan. 19, 1951 in Ponce, Puerto Rico, to Lillian Quintana and Carlos Rosado. He is survived by his devoted and loving wife of 25 years, Mrs. Charlotte Ann Rosado.  

    SSgt Rosado was a beloved Father to Enerys Ginder, Carlos Rosado, Victor Rosado, Jessika Bittner and Erick Rosado and stepfather to James Head, Pamela Burgamy, Kay Collins, Dawn Bracewell, Jay Sapp and Sissy Wentz. He was a proud grandfather to Danielle, Dale, Charles, CJ, Candice, Angelica, Jose, Samuel, Emily, Enerys, Jessica, Cassie, Charlie, Lora, RJ, John, Katelyn, Andrew, Ty Dillon, Deke and Tiffany. 

    He was a beloved father-in-law and great grandfather on both sides of the Rosado/Smith family. The family will dearly miss & mourn their “Papi.”  

    In addition to his family, he’ll be missed by a great many lifelong friends whom affectionately referred to him as “Rosado.”  

    He served his country for twenty three years and received the following awards during his service: Meritorious Service Medal/Army Commendation Medal (4th Award)/ Army Achievement Medal (4th Award)/ Army Good Conduct Medal (6th Award)/ National Defense Service Medal (2nd Award)/ Southwest Asia Service Medal with 3 Bronze Service Star (BSS)/ Noncommissioned Officer’s Professional Development Ribbon with Numeral 3// and the Army Service Ribbon. 

    He will forever be remembered for his courage, honor, strength, and humor. 

    Funeral services will be held by Beggs Funeral Home of Perry on Friday, July 12, 2019, at 4 p.m.
