Jarrod Benjamin Anderson Jr., 26, passed away on September 28, 2019, in Tallahassee. Jarrod was born August 26, 1993, in Tallahassee to Jarrod Benjamin Anderson Sr. and Carolyn Marie Russell Ellison.

Lil Ben was of the Baptist faith and was a member of Athena Baptist Church. He previously worked as a Metal Fabricator with R.D.S. He loved computers, electronics and video games.

Lil Ben is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Gene and Elouise Russell.

He is survived by his father Ben Sr. and his wife Deanna Anderson, his mother Carolyn and her husband Henry Ellison, one brother Blake Anderson, his paternal grandparents, Mickey and his wife Diane Anderson, his step-grandmother, Martha Russell and step-grandfather, Angelio Navarro, and his great grandmother Laura Pickles (Pickle), and special cousins, Shayne, Shon, Brady, Brenton, Jack, Averie and Kyle.

The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, October 1 at Burns Funeral Home of Perry. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, October 2 at 11 a.m. at Burns Funeral Home of Perry with Bro. David McMullen officiating. Interment services will follow immediately afterwards in Pisgah Cemetery. All arrangements are under the direction of Burns Funeral Home of Perry.
