TCHS principal resigns

Local students and school staff were reportedly “shocked” this week to learn Taylor County High School Principal Charles “Chuck” Finley had resigned just seven weeks into the 2019-20 school year and three days before the start of Homecoming festivities.

In a letter to school district staff obtained by Perry Newspapers (see page A-2), Finley stated, “I truly believe we are all in the field of mission work, and I’m being sent on another mission trip. This time it’s on the east side of Gainesville.”
