Stolen truck, $40,000 worth of construction equipment recovered

More than $40,000 worth of stolen construction equipment was recovered late Friday night when suspects pulled the pin and abandoned a flatbed trailer in the middle of Highway 27 East.

The trailer and equipment were reported stolen from a construction company in Tallahassee earlier that evening, along with a work truck – which was equipped with a GPS tracking device.
