$17.3 million railroad project ‘right on track’

Work on the $17.3 million project to upgrade the railroad between Perry and Adel, Ga., is “right on target.”

That was the update provided to the Taylor County Commission last week by Michael Langton of Langton Consulting, which, along with Track Guy Consultants, was hired by the county to oversee the project and manage the $8.6 million federal grant that is funding half of the work.
