Steel beams to stabilize PPD

In a bid to “buy time” and stabilize the front wall of the Perry Police Department, the city plans to install five steel columns across the front of the building.

City council members approved the recommendation from City Manager Taylor Brown at their last meeting, and work is expected to begin in the coming weeks.
