City rules on zoning issue

The Perry City Council voted Tuesday to deny a land use/zoning application made on behalf of a local mother of six who has been attempting to move a new mobile home into a neighborhood of “site built” homes on Joann Street since late summer.

Council members ultimately denied the application, citing the need “for fairness” and concerns over “spot zoning.”
