Dunnell alleges articles ‘slanted’ and ‘one-sided’

School Board Member Deidra Dunnell has requested a retraction of what she characterizes as “extremely slanted and one-sided articles” detailing her objections to new school board policies in the Dec. 13-14 Perry News-Herald.

“Initially when we spoke on Friday regarding Friday’s newspaper article, I hadn’t purchased a copy of the paper; so I really couldn’t weigh in fairly on the articles. However, I’ve had a chance to read them both and neither one accurately reflected the events as they occurred,” Dunnell wrote in an email to Perry Newspapers.
