Bicycle traffic stop leads to meth arrest

A Steinhatchee man who was released from prison five weeks ago following his fifth incarceration found himself back in law enforcement custody Thursday after being arrested for drug possession.

Taylor County Sheriff’s Office (TCSO) Deputy Derrick Parker was on patrol in Steinhatchee when he observed a man – later identified as Charles Frow Jr. – riding a bicycle on First Avenue East in the right hand lane. Parker initialed a traffic stop on the bicycle after observing that it did not have the appropriate tail light and that Frow had failed to stop at a stop sign.
