CERT will hold chicken dinner benefit Jan. 25 at Save-a-Lot

The Taylor County Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) will hold a chicken dinner benefit Saturday, Jan. 25, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Save-a-Lot parking lot.

Proceeds will benefit Tommy “Sugar Bear” Williams, who is currently recovering from surgery.

Sheriff Wayne Padgett will also be on hand “with some pickin’ and grinnin’ live entertainment,” organizers said.

The chicken dinners will include two sides for $7.
