Looking for some exciting family fun to fill up the long Valentine’s Day and President’s Day weekend?
Sponsored by the Steinhatchee River Chamber of Commerce, the 12th annual Fiddler Crab Festival kicks off this Friday night.
Steinhatchee will be “All About Da’ Crab!” over the next three days (Friday-Saturday-Sunday).
A single $5 admission fee at the gate will get you a wrist band and unlimited entry into every event all weekend long for those 14 and older (kids 13 and under admitted free).
The Fiddler Crab Festival is now the “big event” for this tiny fishing community, as it continues to attract thousands of visitors to the riverside village located between Taylor and Dixie counties in natural North Florida.
As many as 10,000 people flock to the annual Steinhatchee Fiddler Crab Festival each February.
