Page withdraws from race

Taylor County Commissioner Malcolm Page, who has served District 1 since 2004, withdrew his name from the ballot on Monday just prior to the noon deadline for those seeking to qualify to run by the petition process.

Page will not seek re-election this year for a fifth term in office.
