Overturned on Contractors Road

Traffic on Contractors Road leading to the Georgia-Pacific Foley Cellulose Mill was directed around an overturned log truck Wednesday morning. The truck appeared to have overturned as the driver made a right-hand turn onto the road from Foley Road (C.R. 30).

The driver was transported from the scene by ambulance. A skidder worked to clear the debris, pulling the logs off the highway. The Taylor County Sheriff’s Office (TCSO) and Doctors’ Memorial Hospital EMS, along with the Florida Highway Patrol, responded to the scene.
