Elections office announces peanut butter & jelly drive benefiting food pantry, blessing box

Supervisor of Elections Dana Southerland has announced that her office, staff and poll workers are partnering with First United Methodist Church for a peanut butter and jelly food drive.

“These items will supplement the food pantry that is provided to our community through the church and for the blessing box, which is located at the church site as well. If you feel led to join our efforts, all donations can be dropped off at your elections office, located at 433 U.S. 19 N. We will continue to collect these items through the Primary Election and will coordinate a presentation to the church after the August election,” Southerland said.
