Buckeye concludes United Way campaign

The Taylor County United Way campaign is closing in on its fund-raising goal of $275,000 thanks in large part to Buckeye’s record-breaking year in which it raised $164,000 in employee and corporate giving and pledges.
According to Campaign Associate Glenda Hamby, the campaign has raised a total of $260,000 and is “within striking distance” of its overall goal.
“We have a very good chance of making our community goal thanks to the success of many campaigns. In the case of Buckeye, they raised $6,000 more than last year,” Hamby said.
