    When Chad Bush was laid off from AMEC Foster Wheeler in April, he had no idea that it would set him on a course to work on the front lines of the pandemic in Queens, New York.

    As the effects of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic trickled into Taylor County, Bush – who worked in the tool room at the Georgia-Pacific Foley Cellulose mill – was one of many employees AMEC Foster Wheeler was forced to lay off in April.
