‘Virus is in control’

While the Taylor County School District navigates a seemingly ever-changing maze of state guidelines and safety issues in preparation for a new school year, one fact remains undeniable – there is a virus out there, and it is real.

“What we do today may have to change in two weeks. That’s what is so frustrating. We know there are adjustments that will have to be made. There’s a lot we don’t know. But what we do know is there is a virus out there and that virus is real,” School Board Chairman Danny Lundy stated during a recent workshop, asking for continued patience from parents, teachers and staff.
