Tax Collector Office closes to help with Aug. 18 vote

Taylor County Tax Collector Mark Wiggins has announced his office will close on election day (Tuesday, Aug. 18) to allow employees to provide assistance at local voting precincts.

“I have made the decision to close my office in order for my employees to assist and be available to work wherever our Supervisor of Elections deems there is a need,” Wiggins said.
