Nearly 6,500 Taylor Countians voted in the 2020 primary election, but a handful of those ballots had to be reviewed by the local canvassing board before they could be counted.
For the Taylor County Canvassing Board, Tuesday’s election night turned into a lengthy odyssey that lasted into the early-morning hours of Wednesday after a series of problems arose while counting mail-in ballots (see related story).
