On Monday, Sept. 28, the Friends of the Taylor County Public Library will host a “Zoom” program featuring John M. Dunn, who has authored more than 400 articles for periodicals and non-fiction young adult books.
In February, Dunn’s book, “Drying Up: The Fresh Water Crisis in Florida,” was selected as winner of the Florida Historical Society’s “Stetson Kennedy Award” for writing about Florida’s natural environment, and the Bronze Medal in the 2019 Florida Book Awards in the Florida non-fiction category.
Dunn is a journalist, educator and water advocate. “Drying Up” explains why America’s wettest state is running out of water and faces a drinking water crisis.
Monday’s program will begin at 5:30 p.m. The Zoom video conference will be hosted by Mark Viola. You are invited to join the Zoom Meeting at https://us02web.zoom.us/j/86717525715. The Meeting ID is 867 1752 5715.
