Food giveaway at Jerkins

Second Harvest will host a food give-away at the Jerkins Community Center on Saturday, Oct. 3, from 9 a.m. to noon. Everyone is welcome to attend until all the food is gone. Face coverings in compliance with COVID-19 regulations are required.

The event is sponsored by the Greater Tallahassee Section of NCNW (National Council of Negro Women, Inc.) and Second Harvest of the Big Bend.

Food distribution at TCES

There will be a free food distribution from Farm Share on Saturday, Oct. 3, at Taylor County Elementary School from 8 a.m. until noon (or until supplies are gone).

The distribution is being coordinated by The Less Fortunate Still Matters Foundation, the Church of God in Christ Temple of God International and the Taylor County School District.

The school is located at 1600 East Green St.
