City of Perry property owners can expect to see a 2.2% increase on the city portion of their annual property tax bill, while those customers using city water, sewer and garbage services will pay $3 more per month on their utility bills starting next month.
At their recent Sept. 22 meeting, the city council voted 3-2 in favor of the 2.2% millage (property tax) rate increase and 4-1 in favor of the utility base rate increase included in the final 2020-21 fiscal year budget.
