Firms sought for dredging

The Taylor County Commission is seeking firms to provide design and planning services for the proposed canal dredging projects at Keaton Beach and the Steinhatchee boat ramp basin.

Once the planning and design are complete, which is expected to take up to a year, the county is expected to seek a second grant from Treasury to fund the actual dredging work.
