Cedar home to be sold to high bidder Oct. 6

Nine years after the county first raised code enforcement complaints against Cedar Island property owner Timothy Brooks, and one year after the Taylor County Commission successfully foreclosed on the property, the parcel in question will go up for public auction next week.

The sale is set for Tuesday, Oct. 6, at 11 a.m. at the east door of the Taylor County Courthouse.
