    Posted on October 7, 2020

The Florida Forest Festival Little King and Queen Pageant invites you to climb aboard the “Forestry Express” for an unforgettable evening of music, dance and surprises Saturday, Oct. 10, at the Taylor County Middle School auditorium.

While the 5 p.m. program is closed to the public, a limited number of tickets are available to families of the contestants.

Mackenzie Smart returns to serve as mistress of ceremonies. She is currently a student at Tallahassee Community College, pursuing a degree in history and served as emcee at last year’s program.

Smart has been active in pageantry since the age of five when she won her first pageant, Little Miss Sunburst. She has held the titles “Miss Angel 2018,” “Miss Teen Panhandle 2017” and “Miss Three Rivers NWFL 2018.”

The program is being directed by Magan Bowden and Emily Newman.

The contestants will compete in a career segment showcasing “What I Want to Be When I Grow Up.”

Next will be the formal wear segment, with the children answering questions drawn at random.

2018 Little Queen, Elynn Lago, will also perform during the program.

Reigning Little King Brodi Mock and Little Queen Payton Harrell will say a final farewell before helping crown the 2020 winners.
