    White crowned Miss Florida Forest Festival Queen

    Grace, poise and talent took center stage at the 2020 Miss Florida Forest Festival Pageant held Friday, Oct. 3, at the Taylor County Middle School auditorium.

    High school senior Malayshia White (center) was crowned Miss Florida Festival with Katie Lundy (right) being named first runner-up and Harlee Mosley (left) winning second runner-up.

    White also won the Physical Fitness Award, Talent Award and Presence & Poise Award. Katie Lundy also won the Miss Congeniality Award and Jenna Davis took home the Community Service Award. Makyla Walker was honored with the Scholastic Award. Also competing were: Allora Baxley, Caroline Gray, Jade Parker and Cayli Hamlin. 2019 Miss Florida Forest Festival Madison Buzbee assisted with the program, joining the contestants for their opening number and crowning the new queen.
